The best job I have seen through to the end is a project for my previous employer. I was asked to develop an automatic test device to make testing electronic products that were made a much quicker task. I designed the electronics myself, the 4-layer Printed Circuit Board and the program that runs on the circuit board. I ever wrote a program that runs on the PC and can connect to the circuit via USB and talk to the PC. I was very pleased with it when I was done.

The best task I’ve done so far is a project where I (and a few other engineers and scientists) made lots of measurements on dialysis machines (that clean blood when people’s bodies can’t clean their own) and worked out that you can tell from some of them whether the machine is doing it’s job properly. So it could save lives!

The best job I have completed is when I worked at a university in Upstate New York and we were looking to develop an alternative way to purify proteins in a more cost-effective way. I really learnt a lot of science from a practical aspect as it was the first time I had been given a project to do by myself.

The best project that I completed was the design of the suspension and geometry for a mountain bike frame, I was obsessed with getting the ride how I thought it should work in my head, and hearing the positive responses from the test pilots gave me a great sense of achievement.
