      Short answer? Yes.

But it is important to have a challenge at work, every job I’ve done that was easy got very boring within a couple of months.

I have to agree with Jamie, engineering is difficult sometimes. Studying engineering especially is pretty intense. But it’s dead interesting, and generally things that are worth doing aren’t easy!

Generally it can be difficult. Studying to become an engineer is hard work, you might find bits of it easy depending on your interests but overall it’s hard.

Jamie and Simon are absolutely right, challenges are what helps an engineer develop and thrive. Life as an engineer would be dull if there was nothing to challenge you and push your forward.

It’s hard but it’s what I like to do so it makes it enjoyable as well. Similar to what the other guys have said, having challenges help to make it interesting and get my brain really thinking.
