• Question: Is being an Engineer rewarding?

      It is! When you start a project from scratch, and then 6 months later you have something completed, functional and working; it is a very satisfying process to go through.

      It’s full of those moments where you find out that the last few hours, days, weeks or months have all been worth it.

      Definitely!! Engineering impacts so many aspects of life that you can see without engineers many inventions would not exist and technology would not advanced as far as it has now. For me, its nice to see how the effort I put into my research helps someone live for longer and/or have a better quality of life. Solving problems in itself is also rewarding too!

      For me it really is! I love being able to look at finished buildings that people are using and know that I did that. I even had people tell me that buildings I have worked were really nice, and that is great to know that they like it and it couldn’t have been like that without my help.
