• Question: how is the water infinite from the tap i know that it comes out cold if the boiler is not turned on but how is it infinite even when it is cold??

      I had to look this one up for the exact details, the simple answer is that the water is supplied to your house by a pipe underground from a truly enormous supply somewhere nearby, this could be a tank that is constantly re-filled, or a lake or a river or the ocean but obviously the water is cleaned along the way.

      So the water isn’t exactly infinite, but the water companies that control the supply make sure that the tanks and reservoirs always have enough water to give to everyone.

      If everyone ran their taps in every single house in a city non-stop then the water supply would probably run dry after a few days.
