• Question: Do you work as a doctor as well? Have you ever helped a patient with cancer?

      Hi! Nope, I’m not a doctor. Actually, I’ve never met anyone who was a doctor and an engineer – that would involve spending an awful lot of years at university!

      My work hasn’t ever helped any cancer patients, however, lots of my colleagues the medical physicists work almost entirely on making cancer therapies safer and better – if you’re interested in saving people from cancer and also engineering, you could consider a career in medical physics!
