I work all over the place at the moment – I’m in training so I get to rotate around all the areas that clinical engineering covers in hospitals (electronics and mechanical workshops, various offices, measurement clinics like urodynamics and cardiology, the wheelchair service, physiotherapy wards, outpatients units, and more!). I will end up specialising and spending more time in one or two places, but those are the areas that it might be, and where you might work ifyou decide to work as a clinical engineer!
