I didn’t have to study far away, but I chose to. University gives you more than just academic skills but also life skills, a lot of people choose to live away from home as it’s a good experience.

I was spoiled for choice as I didn’t have to look far to find a University that would offer a course that I could study. I chose to move far away as I wanted the experience. It should be easy for you to find a course that you like without having to stray too far away if that is what works for you. I’ve met people who lived in the next town or even in the same town as the University as it helps save money and they still had the experience of making new friends and other opportunities that University provides.

I also deliberately moved far away. Doing that meant that you could choose a university based on how much you liked it, not location!
